Stunning large Victorian satinwood jewellery box.

A superb quality late Victorian jewellery box, veneered on all sides with the finest satinwood, the edges banded in ebony with further ebony line inlays. To the base there is a further decorative inlay band.

The box opens to reveal the original mahogany interior which we have re-lined in a purple cotton moire fabric and a luxurious deep purple silk velvet, the lift-out tray revealing further storage beneath.

With working lock & tasselled key.

The box has been cleaned and French polished and is in showroom condition.
