A fine quality late Victorian birds-eye maple trinket / cufflink / jewellery box, the top with central Sheraton revival oval cartouche, the front with matching keyhole escutcheon. With further box wood lines to the edges.

The box has been re-lined in a blue cotton moire fabric with a luxurious deep blue silk velvet, the panel to the inside of the lid further embellished with gold thread embroidery.

The box has been cleaned and professionally French polished and is in showroom condition.

With working lock & tassled key.
