A stunning Georgian burr elm table box, the top inlaid with a sheraton style central satinwood oval panel, the front with shell inlaid cartouche. Inlaid all around with boxwood stringing and feather inlay bandings. All edges are banded in ebony, the whole standing on an ebonised base.

The box has been re-lined in a plush red velvet.

With working lock & tassled key.
