Stunning Victorian inlaid coromandel sewing / jewellery box

A superb Victorian coromandel jewellery box in the manner of Hausberg, Liverpool. The top and front profusely inlaid with brass & abalone shell, all inlays intact and original. Exceptional quality throughout.

The box opens to reveal the original interior, the ruched silk panel in the lid concealing a document pouch, the fitted lift-out tray revealing a further storage area beneath.
