An unusual Victorian walnut jewellery box. Although the box appears to be veneered in three different woods it is actually three different types of walnut. The top has a central shield shaped mother of pearl vacant cartouche, the front with matching keyhole escutcheon.

The box has been re-lined in a plush pink velvet to compliment the original ruched pink satin lining to the lid (now fixed).
