Victoian burr walnut writing slope

Attractive Victorian burr walnut writing slope, the edges banded in brass with further brass line inlay. To the top is a brass cartouche with a matching keyhole escutcheon to the front.

The box has the original fitted interior with black tooled leather to the slope (split through the middle) but otherwise in decent order. The box retains it's two secret drawers. The exterior has been professionally French polished and is in nice clean condition.
