Good Victorian coromandel jewellery / sewing box.

A fine quality Victorian coromandel sewing or jewellery box, the edges banded in brass. The top has a vacant rectangular brass cartouche, the front with matching keyhole escutcheon.

The box opens to reveal the complete fitted interior finished in blue velvet, the lift-out tray revealing a further storage area beneath, the top with pull down panel revealing a document pouch behind.

With working lock & tassled key.
