Superb Georgian miniature mahogany tea caddy.

A fabulous Chippendale period Georgian mahogany miniature tea caddy in lovely untouched condition, great colour and patina with wonderful brass fitting including rare brass handle stops. We have given this a wax and a polish, nothing more.

Often referred to as salesman's samples items of this size and quality rarely come to the market. The last image shows the caddy alongside a glove box to give an indication of size!

With working lock & tassled key.

We can only find one other similar sized example online. (At a much higher price)
