A fine quality Victorian burr walnut jewellery box, the top mounted with a set of three brass playing cards backed with red & black fabric, the corners with decorative engraved brass mounts and the front with similar.

With original fitted interior.

Original working lock and tassled key. There is the slightest of curvature to the lid which means the lid needs to be pressed for the lock to engage but only slight - see final image of box unlocked.
