Fine Victorian coromandel jewellery box by Toulmin & Gale.

A fine quality Victorian coromandel jewellery box by Toulmin & Gale, London. The box edges are banded in brass and complimented by further brass stringing. The top has a vacant brass cartouche and to the sides are inset flush fitting carry handles.

The box has been re-lined in a plush stone grey velvet, the lift-out tray revealing a further storage area beneath. To the rear of the box a brass button releases the front drawer which has also been re-lined.
