A large & fine quality Victorian coromandel jewellery box by Lund, 57 Cornhill, London. The well chosen veneers edged in brass with double brass lines to the top and front. To the top there is a rectangular vacant brass cartouche surrounded by further brass stringing.

The box opens to reveal the original Moroccan leather interior, the lift-out tray revealing a further storage area beneath. We have re-lined the tray and base in a blue silk velvet to compliment the original in rhe lid, behind which is an unusual arrangement of central mirror flanked by small stationery compartments.
