Superb Trinity House tunbridgeware jewellery box.

A superb example of a trinity house jewellery box, the top inlaid with a typical marquetry panel depicting a tall ship and lighthouse. the front sides and back inset with burr walnut panels.

The box opens to reveal the original mahogany interior, the lid lined in dark green velvet with gilt decoration, the lift out tray with matching pin cushion and three tunbridgeware lids.

Presented in exceptional condition with working lock & tassled key.
