A large finely figured Regency rosewood box by Bayleys of Cockspur street, London. With square brass edging throughout, the lid with a decorative flush fitting brass handle and the front with matching brass escutcheon.

The box has been re-lined in plush deep red velvet. With inset silver makers plates to the front edge.
